Summary: The Consortium partnered with the Personal Data Protection Office whose mandate is to oversee the implementation of and enforcement of the Data Protection and Privacy Act No. 9 of 2019 to build the capacity of Data Protection Officers to conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments. These assessments would aid Data Protection Officers of all entities to identify and minimize data protection risks.
